A Family Legacy of Fresh Baking Since 1956
Since 1956 Milano Bakery has grown into a highly-trusted and recognized brand in Metro-Detroit. In 1975, it was acquired by new owners and has been family owned since and has grown organically throughout the years.
Originally located on Detroit’s eastside and westside, the current-day facility is located in the Historic
Eastern Market and was built from the ground up. Milano bakery has been at its current 20,000 sq. ft., fully automated facility since 1999 and continues to bake delicious breads and rolls at a high volume, retaining our authentic “old world” tradition of baking on the hearth.
